Why some "Fogstar discount code" results don't work
A lot of generic coupon aggregator sites list codes that are expired, region-locked, restricted to specific retailers, or simply never worked in the first place, since these sites often scrape and republish codes automatically without checking them. If a code fails at checkout, it's usually one of these rather than an error on your end.
The safest way to get a working code is to use one published directly by the retailer offering it, on a page that's kept up to date, rather than a third-party listing site.
How to check a discount code is genuine
- Check which retailer is actually running the offer, and confirm the battery and warranty are genuine through them as an authorised dealer
- Look for a clear expiry date or validity window, rather than a vague "limited time" claim
- Confirm exactly what the code applies to — some codes are new-customer only, or restricted to specific products or ranges
- Be wary of codes offering unusually large discounts (30%, 50% off), as these are frequently expired, fake, or bait for phishing sites
